Arshak and Gintare destination wedding at lake Sevan, Armenia part I

It was a wedding to remember not only because Gintare and Arshak are good friends of mine but also because of the beautiful landscape including mountains and lake Sevan surrounding the celebration.

It was my first trip to Yerevan and the people there made it very special. Their generosity and warmth made me feel very welcome and wanted:)

Gintare and Arshak exchanged their vows in the ancient stone Twin Church which was built in 874 at the top of the hill and overlooking the lake Sevan. It was hard to reach it but it was worth every effort;) Stunning views from it were overwhelming…

Celebration continued at one of the Tufenkian heritage restaurants  called Zanazan again near lake Sevan just from the other side. There was no hesitation to stand up and dance  and as soon as the guests had their main meal , most of them were on the dance floor:) Armenian traditional dance with very quick footsteps was well executed and attracted European guests to try it too..

First dance was performed with such an honor followed by the slide show of photos from their life together for the last ten years…

The wedding cake was brought to the floor just before the midnight followed by a unique display of fireworks outside…

Dear Gintare and Arshak, I wish you to maintain and cherish the friendship you have and hope the love between you blossoms forever!
