Elopement at 7 Pines Resort, Ibiza editorial bridal photoshoot

When Gintare Dapkute from Events by G Ibiza  offered to do our styled photoshoot at 7Pines Resort Ibiza , I was not so sure but as soon as I entered their lobby, I instantly fell in love with it …It offers a complete serenity, privacy and showcases chic and urban style compared to a busy cosmopolitan lifestyle in Ibiza.

The hotel is dispersed across the clifftop and offers exceptional sights of Es Vedra and stunning views over Medditerean sea. We chose turquoise and lush green colour palette which gave us a perfect contrast to the raw, rocky and rugged coastline of the venue.

The bride model Gintare Lewis elegantly wore sophistically embroided bridal dress by super talented bridal wear designer Nurit Hen kindly provided to us by the bridal shop MirrorMirror in London. Make up and hair were done by a talented Kinga Evans from Ibiza Hair and Make Up.  It naturally evoked romance and dramatic veil flowed beautifully in the wind over ocean views. Groom model’s dark blue suit and a bowtie supplied to us by Omens Moda blended well with turquoise colour of the ocean and the rest of the nature. Both gowns were a perfect fit for a stylish and contemporary couple getting married in Ibiza. Table setting was designed with striking candle holders and beautiful flower decorations provided to us by Artnatur alongside simple but yet elegant bridal bouquet which complimented the wedding dress beautifully.

The photography and behind the scenes video were created by VARNA STUDIOS

Romantic escape to a mystical island of Ibiza

This romantic, elegant and tiny urban styled photoshoot was inspired by the mystical island of Es Vedra in Ibiza, in particular it’s sunsets!

London based experienced wedding photographer and filmmaker Aurelijus Varna from Varna Studios teamed up with a talented wedding and events planner Gintare Dapkute from Events by G Ibiza  to create this beautiful yet nostalgic for the ending summer photoshoot to showcase the love and intimacy between two people in a sunset dimming light where Es Vedra was a perfect nature backdrop!

The female model wore luxurious and sophisticated bridal gown by an amazing designer Nurit Hen kindly provided to us by Mirror Mirror London bridal salon in London. We went for a very natural look make up and soft waves by Hair By Louise Hancox for our female model Aiste while male Flavio Scarone model wore dark blue modern suit with a waistcoat by Omens provided to us by Omens Moda.

Bridal bouquet felt dramatic and wild designed by magical Artnatur Ibiza that blended well with surrounded rocks and lush greenery nature to match rosy and soft green colour palette we went for.

It appeared a very dreamy photoshoot and the team were incredible to make the photoshoot happen!

A Jewel Tone Wedding Color Palette

A jewel tone wedding color palette is totally under-rated in our humble opinion. These color crushing hues are ones we can’t get enough ofwith their delicious rich and bold combinations that make a space pop. Without a neutral shade in sight, Anaiah Grace planned and designed a love affair that screams opulence at this fortress in the United Kingdom. Using an incredible mixture of berry shades loaded with golden highlights and a dash of turquoise, this stunning editorial shows you just how to pull off a jewel tone wedding color palette for your own dream day. The only white in sight is the bride’s magnificent Ruth Milliam Bridal Couture gown and cape – making a statement for its own high fashion reasons. VARNA STUDIOS Photo & Cinema creativity shines through everything they captured the proof is in this dreamy gallery.
There is no denying that blush, all the airy pastels for that matter, continue to have a major moment in weddings today. But, when it gets right down to it, a jewel tone wedding color palette gives you tons to work with in design. Take this tablescape with gold making a major impact. Using décor rentals from Dress It Yourself, the golden charges, plates, silverware and vessels don’t overwhelm as they are offset by the lush floral arrangements in highs and lows that Anaiah Grace crafted. Vanilla Orchid Bakery lent her craft to the overall experience with not one delicious dessert scene, but two decadent sweet tables boasting six drool-worthy cakes. We would be happy to plunge our fork into just one of these beauties, certain to ignite taste buds. The lavender Geode cake with gold foil rocks with its edible sugar crystals. That brings us to the bride. Where to even begin with this flawless Grecian-like goddess wearing two different looks of Ruth Milliam Bridal Couture? She channels the look of a fashion forward modern bride that deserves her moment in the spotlight. Magnificently handcrafted, these gowns and her accessories each have intricate details that sing couture and opulence. In her ostrich feather cape with gold and crystal headpiece, her bridal style oozes with a regal and opulent air perfect for any fairytale. This pretty party scene is bursting with steal-worthy details and ideas.

Bridal project ‘Travelling London Bride’, part II

She is a fun loving girl, who loves singing, dancing and certainly riding a bike. This is the character  for the “bride” Kristina who was the model for one part of my project.

I guess I finally can reveal it that the  above project is well under way, although I had to put it off for sometime because of the high season for weddings:)

      Briefly about the project:

It involves a bride travelling in London by all means of transport including on foot .Earlier in April I posted some pics from ‘bride on foot’, but more to come from it.

‘Bride travelling by bike’ was very much an active day : bride riding the bike and me breathlessly running after her  to get a shot:)

Kristina was very enthusiastic about the idea and generously got into the role of bride on the bike. We were all over the London that day which made our day very interesting but also incredibly tiring . But hey, it was worth every pedal!:)
