Chinese wedding at St.Ermin’s hotel, Chan and Pang
Chan and Pang’s wedding was held on the Diamond Jubilee weekend therefore some guests encountered delays due to the closures of some bridges in Central London. Despite the royal ceremony and persistent rain, it was a fun and well organised wedding. Chan put in a lot of effort to ensure the wedding goes smoothly.
Chan was getting ready at her parents’ place. Shortly after her preparation, Pang and the boys arrived. The boys played number of Chinese door games which included the waxing of boys’ legs and wash of their feet and many other funny games followed by the tea ceremony. After the tea ceremony everybody made their way to St.Ermin’s hotel for the civil ceremony.
After they exchanged their vows, there were drinks and cake waiting upstairs in the balcony.
St. Ermin’s hotel is a stunning venue which just recently started to hold civil ceremonies for couples. It is available for the celebrations too as it has a ballroom and few other halls.
The wedding breakfast took place at China Boulevard restaurant in Wandsworth where the rest of the guests joined newlyweds. Newlyweds went round every table to accept congratulations and thank the guests. Newlyweds also wore three outfits on the day.
Dear Chan and Pang, it was an honour to be part of your special day and learn about Chinese culture and traditions. I wish you to have a happy marriage for the years to come!
